Work History:

Tony Wilkey is Chief Executive, Insurance, Asia with Prudential Corporation Asia and a member of its Executive Board. In his role as Chief Executive of Insurance, Tony has overall responsibilities for Prudential's vast network of life operations across 12 markets in Asia: Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. This has been and is a very successful network of operations with seven of the twelve life operations in top 3 positions in their markets. In addition to over 420,000 tied agents, Prudential also has distribution relations with over 80 financial institutions.

Tony joined Prudential Corporation Asia in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for a significant portfolio of regional functions and strategic initiatives including Operations and Systems, Agency Distribution, Direct Marketing, Partner Development (including Bancassurance) and Customer Relationship Management across Prudential's 12 markets in Asia.

Tony is a 20 year veteran of the insurance industry. Prior to joining Prudential, Tony was Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer of American International Assurance (AIG), based in Hong Kong, overseeing AIG’s Life Companies in South East Asia.

     Work History:

Mr. Howell is appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Limited as of October 13th 2008.

Before this appointment, John was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Philam Plans for AIG in the Philippines between 2006 and 2008. While there he played a significant role in turning around a struggling company by introducing new and innovative products, re-energizing employees and agency distribution, and establishing new distribution channels such as agency telemarketing and group distribution. Under his leadership, Philam Plans increased its market share and new business profitability. Prior to his role at Philam Plans, John had held various positions in AIG, including Vice President of Strategic Operations based in Hong Kong, Director of Financial Management for the Life Division based in New York, and Executive Associate for Domestic Brokerage Group (Operations) also based in New York.

Prior to joining AIG, John co-founded a boutique investment bank called Twenty Ten focusing on mergers, acquisitions and fundraising for small technology companies. He also spent several years as a consultant, most notably for The Boston Consulting Group.

Jack has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University
