PRUrewards is the very first Prudential’s Loyalty program which empowers VIP customers to select gifts and discounts based on their own interests via PRUonline (applicable for both website and mobile app versions).

Customers with annual premium starting from 50 million VND (applied from April 1st, 2019) will be qualified to join PRUrewards to get reward points and to redeem points for various gifts and discounts offered by well-known merchants such as Lazada, CGV, Grab … and many other merchants.

PRUREWARDS’ MEMBERSHIP TIERS

Based on customers’ annual premiums, PRUrewards has 3 membership tiers as follows:

GOLD

From 50 million VND to less than 150 million VND

PLATINUM

From 150 million VND to less than 350 million VND

DIAMOND

From 350 million VND

 

The annual premium used to define membership tiers is based on in-forced policies and does not include top-up premium for Investment linked products and Universal life products, payments for policy loans and any interest incurred from automatic premium loans.

All VIP customers before April 1st, 2019 yet have had annual premium lower than the tiers above will still be applied the VIP scheme effected at the time their VIP status were given. Their VIP status can be adjusted according to the following rules:

  • Downgrade VIP status: In case the VIP status is downgraded due to the decrease of annual premium, within 60 days, customers can reinstate their VIP status based on the VIP scheme effected at the time their VIP status were given.
  • Upgrade VIP status: To upgrade VIP status, customers need to meet PRUrewards’ membership requirements applied from April 1st, 2019.

HOW TO JOIN PRUREWARDS?

From Jan 1st, 2019, Prudential will automatically record PRUrewards points for customers who meet PRUrewards’ membership requirements. Customers just need to sign in to PRUonline account, then go to “PRUrewards” tab to view points as well as gifts and discounts from the program.

HOW TO GET POINTS?

1. Reward points for paying premium:

  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid, member will get 1 point
  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid by Automatic Premium Loan (APL), member will get 0,5 point.

Please note:

  • The annual premium used to calculate points does not include top-up premium for Investment linked products and Universal life products, payments for policy loans and any interest incurred from automatic premium loans.
  • For the First premium, reward points will only be available after the “free look period” (21 days after the delivery of the policy).
  • Reward points for any advance payment will only be available when the premium is due.

Example: Miss Nga buys CIE product with the annual premium of 60.000.000 VND, semi-annually billed. Reward points will be accumulated based on payment schedule as follows:

2. Birthday points:

  • Customers who meet PRUrewards’ membership requirements (including Platinum’s & Diamond’s main Life Assureds) and have birthday from January 1st to March 31st, 2019 will receive birthday gifts sent directly from Prudential.
  • From April 1st, 2019, the VIP Policy owners will be given PRUrewards’ birthday points instead of birthday gifts. Besides, the Platinum and Diamond Policy owners will be offered two (02) free Health Check-up vouchers per year as follows:
    • Each Platinum and Diamond Policy owner can get up to two (02) free e-vouchers for Health Check-up per year, starting from April 1st, 2019.
    • The Health Check-up e-voucher can be used within 3 months from redemption date for Policy Owner and Life Assured. Please find the list of hospitals and clinics as well as applied conditions under “Deal details”.

You can receive up to 75.000 points/year. The points will be valid within 24 months from the date they are given to your PRUreward account.

HOW TO REDEEM POINTS?

  1. Sign in to PRUonline account and open the tab named “PRUrewards”
  2. Click “Your rewards” (“Ưu đãi”) to view all available gifts and discounts
  3. Click to each reward to view applied conditions, then click “Get the code” (“Lấy mã ưu đãi”). The code will be saved under “Redemption” (“Đã đổi”)
  4. Use the code to redeem gift or discounts at PRUrewards’ merchants, including both physical stores and e-commerce websites.

Please note: In case you have not unlocked your PRUonline account yet OR your phone number has been used by another member, you will be requested to unlock your account or verify your contact information before redeeming PRUrewards’ points for e-code / e-voucher.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

For new policy holders, Prudential will automatically create your PRUonline accounts, then send account information via SMS, Email to your registered mobile phone and email. Please go to PRUonline via website (khachhang.prudential.com.vn) or via PRUonline mobile app and choose “Activate Account” (“Kích hoạt Tài khoản”).

For existing policy holders who not yet have a PRUonline account or have their functions blocked, please go to PRUonline and leave your contact information. Our Call center will call you back within one working day to support on your account registration. Besides, you can go to our Agency office or Customer Service Center to request.   • PRUrewards is a function on PRUonline, available for both website and mobile app versions. In case you don’t use smartphone, you can use personal laptop or computer to log in to your PRUonline account via website: khachhang.prudential.com.vn.
  • In case you don’t have internet at home or need any support when signing in / logging in to your PRUonline account, please contact your agent or visit the nearest Prudential agency office. We’d be happy to help you.
  • Any time you visit our office, please feel free to use our computers at the self-service corner to log in to your PRUonline account, check points and redeem points. Our staffs will always be willing to support you.
  • Besides, we or your agent will contact you on your birthday to support you on redeem point for gifts or vouchers.

Instead of receiving fixed PRUVIP+ gifts on Tet holiday and on your birthday, joining PRUrewards, you can select gifts and discounts for you and your family. The program is expected to offer practical benefits as follows:

  • You will receive points based on your Annual Premium, Birthday points, New Year points and Loyalty points.
  • Points will be automatically recorded to your account, you can easily manage your points via PRUonline (in both website and mobile app versions)
  • You can actively redeem points for gifts and discounts based on your own interest at our well-known merchants such as Lazada, CGV, Grab, VinID… and many other merchants.
  • Besides, being a PRUrewards member, you can enjoy free discounts at many popular merchants. PRUrewards has a larger merchant network comparing to the previous program.
  • Once the points get into your account, they will be valid in 02 years. You can accumulate points to redeem for gifts / vouchers with higher value.
  • Besides, from April 1st, 2019, the Platinum and Diamond Policy owners will be offered two (02) free Health Check-up vouchers every year.

  • All VIP customers and Life Assured of Platinum & Diamond customers who have birthday from January 1st to March 31st, 2019 will receive birthday gifts and Health Check-up invitation letters (for Platinum & Diamond tiers) sent directly from Prudential.
  • From April 1st, 2019, the VIP Policy owners will be given PRUrewards’ birthday points instead of birthday gifts. Besides, the Platinum and Diamond Policy owners will be offered two (02) free Health Check-up vouchers per year as follows:
    • Each Platinum and Diamond Policy owner can get up to two (02) free e-vouchers for Health Check-up per year, starting from April 1st, 2019.
    • The Health Check-up e-voucher can be used within 3 months from redemption date for Policy Owner and Life Assured. Please find the list of hospitals and clinics as well as applied conditions under “Deal details”.
  • Moreover, PRUrewards is updating e-vouchers from well-known hospitals such as FV, L'Hôpital Français de Hanoi, Saigon International Clinic, Hoan My hospital, etc. Beside packages for general examination, you can redeem points for many specialized Health-Checkup packages based on the needs of yourself and your family members.

Only individual policy holders can become PRUrewards members, corporate customers are not eligible for this program. Prudential will have a customized reward scheme for corporate customers.

Currently, the PRUrewards program is only applied for individual policy holders. In your case, your company is the policy holder and you are the life assured; therefore, the annual premiums paid by your company cannot be used to rank your PRUrewards membership tier.

With PRUrewards, the membership card and tier will be shown on your PRUonline account, under “PRUrewards” (for both website and mobile app version). Instead of keeping an actual card, you can log-in to your PRUonline account, go to “PRUrewards” and see your virtual card. You can also take a screenshot of the card and save to your mobile phone, then show the screenshot at our GA counter to enjoy priority services. 

Joining PRUrewards, VIP customers will still have priority services at Prudential’s GA counters. You just need to show your virtual membership card to our staff at GA counters. The card is displayed in your PRUonline account, under “PRUrewards”; you can also take a screenshot of the card and save to your mobile phone for your convenience.

With PRUrewards, once the points get into your account, they will be valid in 02 years.

  • Having more points will allow you to redeem gifts or discounts with higher value; so that you can save points for a time to get your favorite gift. The points with nearest expiry date will be deducted first when you redeem.
  • You can easily check the expiry date of your points under “Point History” (“Lịch sử điểm”) on PRUonline, in either website or mobile application. Besides, you will get notification from the PRUonline app to redeem your point before they expire.

My insurance policy is lapsed. Will it affect my PRUrewards points?

When your policy is lapsed, all points gained from that policy will still be valid within 02 years from the earning time.

My premium is paid by Automatic Premium Loan (APL). Will I get any point?

  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid, you will get 1 point
  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid by APL, you will get 0.5 point.

I paid my premium within “grace period” (60 days after the premium is due) but somehow the premium was applied to Prudential’s system after that 60 days. Will I still get full points?

As the premium was applied after grace period, firstly, Prudential would cover your due premium with Automatic Premium Loan (APL) and give you half of the points (0.5 point for every 100.000 VND premium paid). In case the policy has no surrender value, or the surrender value cannot cover the due premium; you will get no point.

After the premium was successfully applied, considering you had paid your premium within grace period; we will remove the APL transaction and adjust your points, so that you will get full points (1 point for every 100.000 VND premium paid).

PRUrewards points will be rounded as follows:

  • Less than 0.5 points: round down
  • From 0.5 point to less than 1: round up.

Example:

  • A premium of 190.000 VND is equivalent to 1.9 point, which will be rounded up to 2 points.
  • A premium of 130.000 VND is equivalent to 1.3 point, which will be rounded down to 1 point.
  • The annual premium used to calculate points does not include top-up premium for Investment linked products and Universal life products, payments for policy loans and any interest incurred from automatic premium loans.
  • For the First premium, reward points will only be available after the “free look period” (21 days after the delivery of the policy).
  • Reward points for any advance payment will only be available when the premium is due.
  • In case you get an incorrect amount of points, please contact our Call Center at 1800 1 247 (toll-free) or email us at customer.s[email protected]. You can request point adjustments for transactions occurred within 6 previous months.
  • Prudential will use customers’ registered mobile phone number to identify PRUrewards members, so that we can make sure the point redemptions are made by the policy holder. When you redeem your PRUrewards points, your contact information (including home address, email and mobile phone number) will be shown up for you to reconfirm.
  • In case you have not yet registered your mobile phone number with Prudential OR your phone number has been used by another member, you will be asked to update phone number before redeeming PRUrewards points.

You can redeem points if your total amount of points is equal to or higher than the amount of points required for your favorite gift / discount.

Besides, if you receive this notification: “To ensure security for your PRUonline account, the requesting and adjustment functions related to your policies and point redemptions are contemporary locked. To unlock those fuctions, please choose one of our following support channels…”, please take one of those two actions:

  1. Choose “Call me” (“Gọi cho tôi”), leave your information and our Call Center will call you back within one working day to help you unlock your PRUonline functions; or
  2. Visit the nearest Prudential office to request an activation for locked functions.

This is required to keep your account safe and secure; so please take action to experience all PRUonline’s functions and to enjoy full benefits from PRUrewards.

  • Joining PRUrewards, you will receive points based on your Annual Premium, Birthday points, New Year points and Loyalty points. Once the points get into your account, they can be used within 02 years; so, you can save points for a time to redeem for gifts with higher value.
  • Besides, PRUrewards have many free discounts at popular merchants; those discounts will be reviewed and updated monthly. You can follow us via the PRUonline app and via Prudential’s Facebook fanpage, or register your email for our weekly newsletter so that you won’t miss our latest deals.

With PRUrewards, all e-codes/e-vouchers will be redeemed and saved to your PRUonline account, under PRUrewards > “Redeemed” (“Đã đổi”). You can log-in to your PRUonline account anytime and view your code; or use the “Share” function in your mobile phone to share the code to other applications on your phone such as SMS, Email, Viber, Zalo.

Our PRUrewards’ merchants will be reviewed and updated frequently based on customers’ needs and interests. We always prioritize merchants with large store networks or e-commerce merchants such as VinID, Lazada… to serve members nationwide.

You can go to “Your recommended deals” (“Ưu đãi phù hợp với bạn”) under PRUrewards to find merchants in your location.

Please check the expiry date and the applied conditions of the gift/discount attached to the code.
