PRUrewards is the very first Prudential’s Loyalty program which empowers VIP customers to select gifts and discounts based on their own interests via PRUonline (applicable for both website and mobile app versions).

Customers with annual premium starting from 25 million VND will be qualified to join PRUrewards to get reward points and to redeem points for various gifts and discounts offered by well-known merchants such as Tiniworld, Gyu Kaku, YOLA English center… as well as numerous upcoming merchants such as Lazada, CGV, Grab, Vinmart…

PRUREWARDS’ MEMBERSHIP TIERS

Based on customers’ annual premiums, PRUrewards has 3 membership tiers as follows:

GOLD

From 25 million VND to less than 150 million VND

PLATINUM

From 150 million VND to less than 350 million VND

DIAMOND

From 350 million VND

 

  • The annual premium used to define membership tiers is based on in-forced policies and does not include top-up premium and cost of insurance (for Investment linked products and Universal life products), payments for policy loans and any interest incurred from automatic premium loans.
  • The higher membership tiers will get higher reward points.

HOW TO JOIN PRUREWARDS?

  • New customers from September 2018 who meet PRUrewards’ membership requirements will be invited to join PRUrewards.
  • Existing customers who are currently members of PRUVIP+ can choose to join PRUrewards instead of PRUVIP+. Once joining PRUrewards, customers agree to get benefits from PRUrewards and do not get any benefit from PRUVIP+ simultaneously.
  • Customers qualified for PRUrewards will register as follows:
  1. Sign in to PRUonline and choose “Join PRUrewards”
  2. Confirm contact information (or update latest information if needed) to become official member.

After becoming official member of PRUrewards, customers will be able to get points and receive gifts / discounts from the program.

HOW TO GET POINTS?

1. Reward points for paying premium:

  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid, member will get 1 point
  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid by Automatic Premium Loan (APL), member will get 0.5 point.

Please note:

  • The annual premium used to calculate points does not include top-up premium and cost of insurance (for Investment linked products and Universal life products), payments for policy loans and any interest incurred from automatic premium loans.
  • For the First premium, reward points will only be available after the “free look period” (21 days after the delivery of the policy).
  • Reward points for any advance payment will only be available when the premium is due.

Example: Miss Nga buys CIE product with the annual premium of 40.000.000 VND, semi-annually billed. Reward points will be accumulated based on payment schedule as follows:

HOW TO REDEEM POINTS?

  1. Sign in to PRUonline account and open the tab named “PRUrewards”
  2. Click “Your rewards” (“Ưu đãi”) to view all available gifts and discounts
  3. Click to each reward to view applicable conditions, then click “Get the code” (“Lấy mã ưu đãi”). The code will be saved under “Redemption” (“Đã đổi”)
  4. Use the code to redeem gift or discounts at PRUrewards’ merchants, including both physical stores and e-commerce websites.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You need to have a PRUonline account before becoming a member of PRUrewards. Via PRUonline, you can easily view total points and redeem points to get gifts/discounts from PRUrewards.

Policy holders who have first policy with Prudential issued from June 27th, 2018 onwards will receive SMS and email about their PRUonline account and activation instructions right after the policy is issued.

Policy holders who have signed on and submitted at least one Application Form from October 17th, 2016 to June 26th, 2018 and the policy has been successfully issued will receive SMS and email about their PRUonline account and activation instructions before August 15th, 2018. Besides, Policy holders can visit the nearest GA office or Customer Services Center to fill in a request form to create new PRUonline account.

Policy holders who have all Application Forms signed before October 17th, 2016 please visit any GA office or Customer Services Center to fill in a request form, in order to:

  • Request an activation for locked features, including Updating policy information and Sending policy requests (for those who have already created a PRUonline account); or
  • Create new PRUonline account (for those who have never created any PRUonline account before)

Prudential will use customers’ registered mobile phone number to identify PRUrewards members, so that we can make sure the point redemptions are made by the policy holder. Hence, when you sign in to your PRUonline account and request to join PRUrewards, we will ask you to confirm your contact information (including home address, email and mobile phone number).

In case you have not yet registered your mobile phone number with Prudential OR your phone number has been used by another member, you will be asked to update phone number before becoming a PRUrewards member.

Only individual policy holders can become PRUrewards members, corporate customers are not eligible for this program. In the future, Prudential will consider an appropriate reward scheme for corporate customers.

When joining PRUrewards, you will get points for all premium incurred in that year.

In 2018, you can choose to continue getting benefits from PRUVIP+ or join PRUrewards. Prudential has already prepared your birthday gift 2 months before your birthday; therefore, in case you join PRUrewards within 2 months before your birthday, you will receive birthday gift from PRUVIP+ instead of birthday points from PRUrewards.

Once the points get into your account, they need to be redeemed within 24 months.

  • Having more points will allow you to redeem gifts or discounts with higher value; so that you can save points for a sufficient time to get your favorite gift. The points with nearest expiry date will be deducted first when you redeem. 
  • You can easily check the expiry date of your points under “Point History” (“Lịch sử điểm”) on PRUonline, in either website or mobile application. Besides, you will get notification from PRUonline application to redeem your point before they expire.

When your policy is lapsed, all points gained from that policy will still be valid within 24 months from the earning time.  

  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid, you will get 1 point
  • For every 100.000 VND premium paid by APL, you will get 0.5 point.

As the premium was applied after grace period, firstly, Prudential would cover your due premium with Automatic Premium Loan (APL) and give you half of the points (0.5 point for every 100.000 VND premium paid). In case the policy has no surrender value, or the surrender value cannot cover the due premium; you will get no point.

After the premium was successfully applied, considering you had paid your premium within grace period; we will remove the APL transaction and adjust your points, so that you will get full points (1 point for every 100.000 VND premium paid).

PRUrewards points will be rounded as follows:

  • Less than 0.5 points: round down
  • From 0.5 point to less than 1: round up.

Example: 

  • A premium of 190.000 VND is equivalent to 1.9 point, which will be rounded up to 2 points.
  • A premium of 130.000 VND is equivalent to 1.3 point, which will be rounded down to 1 points.
  • The annual premium used to calculate points does not include top-up premium and cost of insurance (for Investment linked products and Universal life products), payments for policy loans and any interest incurred from automatic premium loans.
  • For the First premium, reward points will only be available after the “free look period” (21 days after the delivery of the policy).
  • Reward points for any advance payment will only be available when the premium is due.
  • In case you get an incorrect amount of points, please contact our Call Center at 1800 1 247 (toll-free) or email us at service@prudential.com.vn. You can request point adjustments for transactions occurred within 6 previous months.

PRUrewards is a function on PRUonline, available for both website and mobile app versions. In case you don’t use smartphone, you can use personal laptop or computer to log in to your PRUonline account via website: khachhang.prudential.com.vn.

In case you don’t have internet at home or need any support when signing in / logging in to your PRUonline account, please contact your agent or visit the nearest Prudential GA office. We’d be happy to help you.

Any chance you visit our office, please feel free to use our computers at the self-service corner to log in to your PRUonline account, check points and redeem points. Our staffs will always be willing to support you. In the near future, Prudential will provide point redemption via Call Center.

You can redeem points if your total amount of points is equal to or higher than the amount of points required for your favorite gift / discount.

Besides, if you receive this notification: “To ensure security for your PRUonline account, the requesting and adjustment features related to your policies and point redemptions are contemporaly locked. To unlock those features, please contact the nearest Prudential office for support. Find the nearest office here”, please visit the nearest Prudential office to request an activation for locked features. This is required to keep your account safe and secure; so please take action to experience all PRUonline’s features and to enjoy benefits from PRUrewards.

The PRUVIP+ program lasts 5 years from 2014 to the end of 2018 as per Prudential’s commitment. Therefore, from 01/01/2019, the PRUVIP+ program will no longer be effective; all VIP customers will be joining the new loyalty program.

Once joining PRUrewards, customers agree to get benefits from PRUrewards and do not get any benefit from PRUVIP+ simultaneously. In 2018, you can choose to join PRUrewards or continue to receive benefits from PRUVIP+ until the end of the year. The PRUVIP+ program will end by 31/12/2018, from 2019 all VIP customers will be joining the new loyalty program.

All Health Check-up invitation letters issued in 2018 will still be effective within 01 year from the issued date. Please check the expiry date and refer to the hospital list on the invitation letter, then choose a hospital to book your Health Check-up session.

In PRUVIP+ program, Platinum and Diamond customers receive birthday gifts on both Policy holder’s and Life assured of the main product’s birthdays. Joining PRUrewards, VIP customers will only be receiving birthday points on Policy holders’ birthdays; however, customers will also receive reward points during the year for premium payments. You can collect those points and redeem points to get various gifts / discounts for yourself and for your family.

Please check the expiry date of the gift/discount attached to the code.
